It's a BOY

We had our ultrasound today and we're having our 3rd boy, what a joy he will be! I'm sure #1 and 2 will be thrilled to have a little brother to join in the rumblin and tumblin. We took #1 to the ultrasound with us....he thought he was going to watch a "movie" of the baby in "his belly" at first he wasn't sure what to think but when we got to the 4d part he was able to make out that it was actually a baby! Cherry Crest Farms

Today we took a family day and headed out to Cherry Crest Farms. It will definitely be a place we will continue to visit. They had a ton of activities for the kids and age friendly. The boys enjoyed every second of it, totally worth the admission you got your monies worth and you could choose the cheaper admission if you didn't want to do the corn maze which is nice when you have little ones that wouldn't enjoy it much. The beautiful sunset as we were getting ready to leave. (the pics aren't in order)

#1 Loved holding the little chicks! He was able to pick them up on this own. We had to stop though once he decided he should help them learn how to fly.

The petting zoo had goats, sheep, pigs, Llama, chickens and rabbits (maybe a few others too) The boys enjoyed feeding them, thankfully #2 only attempted to eat it once, when he realized you feed the animals he totally had a blast.

pumpkin field, you got to take a wagon to the fiels and cut the pumpkins right off of the vines, talk about a fresh pumpkin!

There was a ton more activities to do there, next year we'll be sure to get there earlier! but we had a full 5 hours of fun. The railroad also ran through the middle of the farm, the boys enjoyed watching it pass through many times once they got used to its horns.

annual fall party

We had our annual fall party yesterday and had a great time with wonderful friends and delicious food! The kids had a great time painting pumpkins, painting with corn cobs, making bird feeders and hitting the pinata. I think #1 has a lot of his candy gone already, has a sweet tooth like mommy I guess. Looking forward to next year when we'll have 3 little pumpkins running around!

#1 had picture day at preschool so I grabbed a quick pic of the 2 before we left for school.

Today mimi and I took the boys to an apple farm to pick apples and to play in the corn box. They had a blast, #1 picked the apples while #2 chowed down on the biggest apple he saw in the basket.

The first thing he does is find his frog with his name on and puts it on the lily pad with his name. Supposedly by the end of may he will be able to recognize and spell his name :) He did great again today, walked in with no problems, just got mad when we had to go he wanted to stay and play. When he woke up the first thing he said to me was "school" with wide eyes. Mimi and I treated him to a lunch buffet at pizza hut for being such a big boy at his first week of preschool.

Preschool

Today #1 went to his first day of pre-school! I unfortunately forgot to take my camera so I don't have any pictures, I'll be sure to get some of his second day :) He did excellent this morning, he marched right into his class got his name tag for his cubby put his activity bucket away and off he went into playing. Although he did come back to give #2 and I our hugs and kisses. Overall his first day went well, he actually wanted to go back and play so I guess that's a good thing! I'll try and post pictures tomorrow.
