Welcome to the family Tilly

We got a puppy, her name is Tilly and she's a schnoodle (schnauzer/poodle) The boys are having a great time with her! They enjoy feeding her, playing with her and going on walks. So I finally am no longer the only female in the house :)

Catch up!

Summer is coming to an end :( We've tried to spend the last few weeks catching up with friends at parks and hanging around the house. The energizer will be heading off to his last year of preschool soon while the tank will head off to his first year of preschool! That will leave me with just little dude 3 days a week, I'm really looking forward to some time with just him :)

One of the boys favorite things to do...build train tracks! The tank made that particular track all by himself.
The boys found a frog while we were at the cabin that they really wanted to bring home and keep as a pet. I was pretty sure that the frog would more than likely get lose in the van on the way home so I convinced them that the frog would be much happier living at the cabin than in our van. In return I told them they could each pick out a goldfish at the petshop when we got home. So we are now proud owners of 2 goldfish: Cheetah (the energizers fish) and William (the tanks fish)

While we made a trip up to NH we swung over to MA to visit with great grandma A, the boys enjoyed playing peek a boo with her and playing on her piano.

First Camping Trip

We survived our first camping trip in New Hampshire. It probably would have been smart to do our first camping trip near home to make sure it went smoothly but we decided rather last minute to camp so there was no time for a practice run. (we visited hubbys family) The energizer and the tank did great and slept through the night. Little dude took some extra work to get to sleep but once he did fall asleep he also stayed in bed. I'd say overall they did a wonderful job for their first trip. It's the beginning of many more camping trips.
